Technical Presentation:

Brian uses the very best equipment available to DJ's from manufacturers such as Bose, Pioneer and Void Acoustics ensuring that the sound quality and volume levels are perfect for your party. Brian's Bose L1 system as well as being the ultimate in sound quality, is very discreet unlike traditional 'boxy' sound systems and blends well into the stunning venues he works in. This system also has the added feature of an extraordinary dispersion characteristic which means that sound levels are perfect for dancing without being overpowering or distorted which is particularly important for wedding receptions where a broad range of age groups are present. For larger parties or where a club style sound system is required, Brian uses his Void Acoustics sound system, and he has access to other systems such as Funktion-one for the ultimate big sound.

Lighting effects add to the atmosphere of a party, and Brian has a selection to compliment the room.

Specific requirements such as club style effects, white lighting or a mirror ball are easily accommodated.  A very effective option is to use mood up lighting, this totally transforms any room for that wow factor, and can be programmed to provide specific colours, slow fades between colours or a dynamic sequence as the party progresses.

Brian often runs the music for wedding ceremonies playing the required music on cue so that you don't

need to worry about the equipment logistics or someone from your party to drive it. This can also be used to provide high quality background music during a cocktail reception or wedding breakfast, and

SEDA ShowNight, 15th November 2009

This Sunday (15th November 2009) sees another SEDA ShowNight being held at the Village Hotel in Maidstone.  The event runs from 7:30pm till about 11pm and is a great opportunity for DJ's of all kinds to network, learn from each other, and see or buy new products on display.  SEDA is the South Eastern Discotheque Association, and its growing membership of 140 DJ's abides by a strict code of conduct.  If you are looking for a DJ for your event, and I am booked, there is a find a DJ section on the website which lists SEDA members.  As usual, my advice on booking a DJ can be found here.

Following a slightly unplanned change in my career, I have decided to make full use of all my technical resources for the mobile disco on a new venture.  As I have some of the very best PA kit available, it seems daft that during the week this stuff is not being used.  My Bose L1 systems for example lend themselves extremely well to being used as a very high quality PA for conferences and product launches.  I have all kinds of radio mics at my disposal for these applications too.
